Delicious Homemade Salads!

Salads always the easiest and fastest way to prepare. But the range of time need to prepare one depends on how colorful and richness of the salads content you want to add in.

The simplest way to prepare just add on your favorite mixture of veggies, fruits, pasta and dressings.

Somehow after few attempts, I finally have my own preferences in making my own delicious salads. See below for mouth watering photos that anyone can’t resist ;@

Ingredients

  1. Potato
  2. Carrot
  3. Garlic
  4. Lettuce (red coral lettuce, baby kale, curly crisp lettuce)
  5. English Parsley
  6. Rosemary leaves
  7. Brussels sprout green
  8. cherry tomatoes
  9. Chicken Meatloaf
  10. green / red / yellow capsicum
  11. Tuscan Swiss Brown mushrooms
  12. Yellow Onion
  13. olive oil
  14. white pepper
  15. black pepper
  16. salt
  17. Thousand Island dressing
  18. Oyster sauce
  19. corn flour

How to prepare;

Preparation A

Slice potato and carrot into medium size can that fit- in-mouth size in what ever shape you like. Bake in oven all those slices potato and carrot on the aluminium foil, sprinkle some salt, white pepper, olive oil and smashed garlic together until cooked.

Preparation B

Wash all the salads, tomato and all the leaves on the ingredient list above.

Preparation C

Wash brussels sprout green. Mixed with salt, white pepper, black pepper and olive. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil into frying pan and fried the Brussels sprout up to your liking. I fried it until it dried and crunchy.

Preparation D

Slices capsicum into your preference cute size and put in aluminium foil on top of oven tray. Sprinkle some salt, white pepper, black pepper and olive oil. Baked in oven until it turn brownish.

Preparation E

Cut chicken meatloaf at rectangular sizes. Fried the meatloaf (add teaspoon olive oil) slices until its crunchy.

Preparation F

Slices all the Tuscan Swiss Brown mushrooms, fried together with yellow onion slices then add some oyster sauce + bit of salt and cornflour for the salads sauce.

Final Preparation

Add all prep A-F into large bowl, Mixed it all together. Thousand island you should add and mix only when you want to eat/ served so to preserve its freshness.

Chicken Pad Krapow Recipe

We discover this menu from Absolute Thai Restaurants and later at Boat Noodles. Husband been loving this dishes and requested me to add in my home cook menu list.

That what i loved to hear, since he doesn’t eat seafood and meat. Always the chicken and i need varieties and options. After few attempt i believe am good at it. I share with you here the recipe;

Thai dishes – Chicken Pad Krapow

Ingredients;

  1. Minced chicken
  2. olive oil
  3. shallots (smash or pounded)
  4. ginger (pounded)
  5. onion (slice)
  6. chilies (small slice)
  7. oyster sauce
  8. soy sauce
  9. chicken broth
  10. white sugar
  11. brown sugar
  12. Basil leaf (finely chopped)
  13. salt

How to cook;

  1. heat your frying pan and add some olive oil
  2. fry the minced chicken until brownish
  3. squeeze the chicken to the side of the pan
  4. add shallots, ginger, onion, and chilies until – fry until yellowish.
  5. then mix together with the chicken
  6. mix ingredients for the sauces before hand (oyster sauce, soy sauce, chicken broth, white sugar, brown sugar)
  7. Add in the ready mix sauce into the pan.
  8. stir until the sauce caramelize with the chicken.
  9. add some salt and turn of the stove.
  10. Lastly mix the chopped basil leaf and stir with the chicken.

Ready to eat!! I would suggest to eat together with Tomyam Soup, Omelette and Salted Fish Fried Kailan. 

Salted Egg Buttermilk Chicken

Sangat mudah untuk masak resipi ini asalkan barang yang diperlukan ada tersedia.

Mula- mula perlu marinate ayam dengan garam, tepung jagung + tepung ubi, sedikit black paper. Goreng dahulu ayam kemudian barulah boleh sediakan sosnya pula.

Bahan-Bahan untuk sos;

  1. Butter
  2. Bawang putih (potong dadu)
  3. Daun kari
  4. Cili padi
  5. Half kiub pati ayam (Brand knorr)
  6. Salted egg powder (kalau takde boleh rebus telur masin, ambil kuningnya sahaja dan lecekkan)
  7. 2 keping cheese (Brand Singles)
  8. Fresh milk
  9. Tepung jagung (mixed dgn air)
  10. Gula

Cara menyediakan sos;

Buka api kecil dan masukkan butter. Tumis daun kari sehingga naik bau dan masukkan bawang putih + cili padi + kiub ayam.

Apabila kekuningan sedikit masukkan salted egg + cheese slices + fresh milk. Sentiasa gaulkan dan ditambah tepung jagung dan gula. Ikut kepekatan yang disukai.

Last sekali barulah masukkan ayam dan gaul sekata. Siap!

RESIPI MEE KARI

BAHAN-BAHAN & CARA MEMBUAT KUAH

Cara membuat;

  1. Air rebusan ayam / chicken stock
  2. Rempah Kari (Adabi / Babas)
  3. Bawang Putih, Halia dan Lengkuas (blend together)
  4. Cili boh
  5. Asam Gelugor
  6. Daun Kari
  7. Kentang (rebus dan lecek)
  8. garam dan serbuk lada sulah
  9. santan
  10. fishball dan fishcake

Tumis bahan yang telah diblend atau tumbuk sehingga kekuningan (3) kemudian masukkan cili boh dan rempah kari. Tumis api sederhana sehingga pecah minyak. Campurkan sedikit garam dan serbuk lada sulah

Masukkan air rebusan ayam beserta ayam – bahagian tulang (manakala carik bahagian isi ayam yg telah direbus tadi dan simpan / asingkan) .

Masukkan udang, fishball, fishcake, santan , kentang yang telah dilecet bagi memastikan kepekatan kuah (kacau perlahan sehingga mendidih)

Penyediaan bahan-bahan lain mee kari

  1. Mee Kuning (basuh, bilas dan tos)
  2. cili besar (hiris halus)
  3. daun sup (mayang)
  4. daun bawang (mayang)
  5. Telur (rebus dan potong 4)
  6. tauhu (goreng bersama garam kunyit dan potong petak kecil)
  7. ayam rebus dicarik
  8. limau nipis (potong untuk perahan)
  9. taugeh

Cara Makan / Hidang

Campurkan semua bahan-bahan mee kari dan letakkan kuah. Done!!

Resipi Nasi Ayam … yums.. yums

Nasi Ayam merupakan menu yang paling ideal for kids. So sempena cuti Maulidur Rasul ni masakan yang mudah untuk disediakan ni dijadikan menu for lunch.

Nasi Ayam

Resipi seperti di bawah;

  1.  Sediakan Sup 

Bahan: Ayam (pilih parts yang disukai), sup bunjut, 1 labu bawang besar (potong 4), 3 ulas bawang putih (ketuk), 3 inch Halia (ketuk)

Cara Memasak: Rebus semua bahan diatas. Sebahagian air rebusan digunakan untuk memasak nasi. Keluarkan ayam (asingkan). Lebihan untuk dijadikan sup kena improvise dengan tambah kiub ayam knorr, hirisan daun sup dan bawang serta bawang goreng.

 

2. Penyediaan Ayam

Ayam rebusan sup tadi diasingkan.

Perap bersama sos tiram, kicap cair, kicap manis dan madu

goreng api kecil.

 

3. Penyediaan Nasi Ayam

Bahan: Beras (basuh dan tos), air rebusan ayam, 3 ulas hirisan bawang merah, 2 ulas hirisan bawang putih, 1 inci halia ketuk, daun pandan (simpul), kulit ayam dan sedikit garam, minyak sapi, pewarna kuning

Cara memasak: Tumis bahan hirisan dengan minyak sapi, masuk halia dan kulit ayam. – masukkan beras dan air rebusan ayam ke dalam periuk nasi bersama bahan tumisan dan lain-lain bahan diatas kecuali pewarna. Apabila nasi telah masak baru titiskan pewarna dah gaul rata.

 

4. Penyediaan Sos Cili

Kisar cili merah + bawang putih + garam + gula + cuka + sos cili

5. Penyediaan kuah kicap

sedikit air rebusan sup ayam + kicap manis, kicap masin dan minyak bijan

 

6. Tambahkan hidangan dengan telur rebus, timun, tomato dan salad

 

 

Resipi Pizza Kentang Ayam

Berikut merupakan another exploration requested by encik suami. Memang tak pernah masak karipap tapi he wanted toppings macam karipap.

Nervous at first untuk buat sebab tak tau what to use dan dengan bantuan Mr Google … wahh menjadi. lepas ni boleh buat karipap.

Pizza Kentang Ayam

But first thing first, i kongsi resepi seperti di bawah;

Bahan Topping (inti karipap)

  • 1 biji Bawang besar (potong dadu)
  • 3 ulas bawang merah (kisar)
  • 2 ulas bawang putih (kisar)
  • cili kisar
  • 3 sudu besar serbuk rempah kari ayam dan daging
  • 5 biji kentang (potong dadu)
  • ayam kisar.
  • 1 kiub ayam knorr
  • Perasa – garam dan gula
  • olive oil / minyak masak

cara memasak;

  1. Panaskan minyak – tumis bawang besar (separuh) sampai kuning dan naik bau. Masukkan bawang yang dikisar tadi ( bawang merah dan putih boleh dikisar bersama). tumis hingga naik bau.
  2. Kemudian masukkan cili kering blend (cili boh) dan serbuk rempah kari yang telah dicampur sedikit air. Tumis sehingga pecah minyak. Masukkan kiub ayam + garam + gula = kacau
  3. Masukkan ayam dan kentang yang telah ditoskan + 2 cawan air supaya kentang mudah empuk. Tutup periuk agar proses masak dapat dicepatkan. Campurkan bahagian terakhir bawang besar ke dalam masakan.

 

 

Penyediaan pizza dan toppings;

Gunakan pizza base bagi yang malas nak buat sendiri atau jimat masa.

Ratakan inti ke atas pizza base. Kemudian boleh aturkan bahan lain seperti di bawah;

  • capsicum
  • bawang besar
  • thyme leaves
  • mozarella cheese

Homemade Chicken Rendang Pizza Recipe

My guy just loved to eat Rendang especially Chicken Rendang. Every time Raya festive for sure he would asked for it. You can eat rendang with rice, ketupat, lemang, pulut kuning or even bread.. at home i must make sure i would standby a baguette for him to eat with.

Since this his favourite, he requested me to try out pizza with chicken rendang toppings. Surprisingly my first time exploring just worth it because it really taste good.

Here I share the recipe for Chicken Rendang Pizza;

Ingredients;

Toppings

  • Cook your usual Chicken Rendang and make sure you have some gravy so can use it as a sauce to cover on top of pizza base.
  • Use fork to slice out the chicken into small pieces. Put aside.
  • Thin slice fresh Holland yellow onion
  • Thin slice green capsicum
  • pizza cheese toppings (i put less but up to your liking)

Use Thin crust or Pan crust pizza base (whichever you prefer), put the gravy sauce on top of the pizza base make sure not too wet. Then you can put all the ingredient above following the steps.

Pre heat the oven at 220 degree then baked your pizza. Cook within 15-20 minutes but it will subject to our oven, can always observed so that your cheese just nice melt and not blackened.

Homemade Chicken Rendang Pizza

Simple Homemade Pepperoni Pizza

Pizza is a dish of Italian origin, consisting of a flat round base of dough baked with a topping of tomatoes and cheese, typically with added meat, fish, or vegetables. Here are some simple homemade pizza for the families who loved to eat pizza;

Ingredients;-

for the sauce;

  1. Preego sauce – Traditional Mushrooms
  2. Chicken Broth
  3. Oregano
  4. Black paper
  5. sugar

Put all the ingredients follow the numbering steps one by one in a cooking pan and stir altogether. This sauce is for you to put/ align on top of the pizza base / dough before putting other ingredients for the toppings of your choice.

for the Toppings;

A. Chicken Pepperoni

  • Cremini mushrooms (thin slice)
  • pizza cheese toppings

Arrange all of the ingredients on top of the pizza base + sauce. Follow the ingredients steps accordingly. You can add anything you want on top – this is only the simple content which normally kids would love to eat without throwing away some of the toppings ingredients. Baked in oven for 220 degrees for few minutes – just monitor the cheese and sauce not to be blackened.

  • slices of Beef pepperoni
  • fresh Holland yellow onion (Thin slice)
