Tuya Smart Life WiFi Smart Touch Wall Switch Review

Recently on 11/05/2024, I installed myself Wifi Smart Touch because I need to be able to schedule the switching on and off of my light in case I balik kampung or I go out early but come back late to the house.

How To Install?

I’m not electrician, so I have to look into the existing wiring and check which wire belong to live, neutral and to the lamps.

You must connect neutral wire to the switch if not it doesn’t work. Normal switch doesn’t need neutral but still can work.

The Smart Life App

With Tuya protocol, you can use Smart Life app to control the Wifi Switch.

Now I can control my switch anywhere, so if I back late I can switch it on remotely. Besides, If I go back to my home town or for vacation, I can set schedule when the light to be on and off.

I bought my Wifi switch at Shopee at this shop because it delivers on time and provide good quality switch.

Conclusion

I like Wifi switch because easier for me to control my switch if I’m not at home or even at home when I’m so lazy to move around I just switch on and off via my phone.

Aircond Installation Daikin Inverter 1HP at Apartment in Kota Damansara Price & Review

I installed one Daikin Aircond Inverter 1HP at my apartment unit Gugusan Mawar at Kota Damansara.

I chose Haz to install my aircond. It took him 4 hours to install it from 4PM till nearly 8PM.

Daikin Aircond Installation

1) Making a hole at the wall to make way for the copper & water drain pipe

3) The hole is below 2 inch from the indoor unit position. This is to ensure the water will go down instead of contain within the unit.

2) Installed the aircond bracket under the window

3) Looping the power from the power plug and put a 20AMP switch for the aircond

4) After installation, to test the aircond is correctly installed by switching on the aircond with minimum temperature (for Daikin it is 18C) and waited for 15mn to check whether water coming out from the drain pipe. If got water meaning to say it is correctly installed.

Aircond Installation Price

Power Looping with cable casing and switch box (switch I provide): RM80

Install Aircond 1HP, copper pipe 6 ft, bracket outdoor, 10ft drain pipe: RM250

Additional copper pipe RM20 per feet.

I bought aircond cover 2×3 inch for 6 feet at RM18 and white cement at RM4.

Total installation cost: RM412.

For Info, Haz quoted installation for 1.5HP is RM300 with copper pipe 6 feet, bracket outdoor and 10ft drain pipe.

1) Gunakan kanvas tanpa perlu tanggal aircond yang mana saya lagi suka kerana tak perlu cabut dan pasang paip aircond semula yang akan buatkan kebocoran gas

2) Dia bersihkan unit indoor sekali casing dan juga filter.

3) Bersihkan unit outdoor sekali

4) Selepas servis memastikan aircond sejuk selama 15 minit dan tengok air outlet keluar dari aircond untuk memastikan servis yang betul.

5) Memberi warranty selama 1 minggu.

I bought a Daikin Inverter 1HP aircond at JH Home Appliance Sungai Buloh and found it is cheaper vs Shopee. I found the shop by accident when I wanted to buy archery for my son.

Conclusion

I was cheaper vs I bought at Shopee even thought at Shopee they gives you coins cashback but I found it is still expensive after include the delivery costs.

The sales person said the appliance price will increase by July due to diesel subsidy rationalization etc. So better buy by this month June to lock the price.

LA Sport Archery Shop Sungai Buloh Review

I went to LA Sport the popular archery shop to buy bows and arrows for my son. Surprisingly, the shop was really busy not stop people coming to buy archery and its accessories.

The shop has lots of choices of archery and accessories.

They provide 12 months warranty subject to manufacturer final decision and to register the warranty with manufacturers.

Price

Its cost me RM1,700++ to buy wooden beginner set for my son. The package base price was around RM1,100 then I upgrade certain accessories to have better quality and added RM400 for arrows.

Overall Review

In term of price, I’m not sure whether it is cheaper here because I don’t have time to compare but the sales person was really helpful and they serve you really fast even though there were so many customers.

Cat Semula Pagar Rumah Yang Berkarat Dengan Nippon Paint

Saya mengecat semula pagar rumah saya kerana adanya kesan karat dan cat pagar yang dah pudar. Saya memilih cat yang sama warna dengan warna cat sebelum ini tetapi bila cat warna coklat tu agak cerah berbanding dengan cat sebelum ini.

Saya teruskan cat semua pagar kerana dah beli 1 liter cat Nippon Paint pada harga RM48. Nanti bazir pulak kalau tak pakai.

Saya mulakan cat pada petang Jumaat dalam pukul 430PM – 10 Mei 2024 dan siap cat separuh pagar pada pukul 6PM.

Saya sambung cat pada pagi Ahad dalam 830AM dan siap cat dalam pukul 10AM.

Menggunakan cat Nippon Paint Colourlite sangatlah mudah macam sapu keju atas pagar kerana cat yang agak pekat. Selalunya cat cair. Cat yang cair ambik masa nak mengecat.

Selain itu cat Nippon Paint ini cepat kering. Selepas saya cat, hujan turun renyai-renyai tetapi cat tidaklah rosak seperti yang saya jangkaan.

Saya juga dibantu oleh anak saya Hadien dalam kerja-kerja mengecat ini.

Isano Garden Hose Reel 20m Review

I bought an Isano 20m Garden Hose Reel set to replace my old and stiff hose. At first I want to buy same hose like mine before because the price is cheaper only at RM50.

After second thought I chose Isano because of its quality, durability and it wont get easily bend and block the water flow.

I bought it at RM108 at Chin Chun near Denai Alam.

Installation was easy and you can change accessories easily. The only problem I had was the water leaking form the water tap. It seems the hose didn’t connect tightly with the water tap.

I installed the Isano Garden hose reel on 12th May 2024.

Maimunah Food Court Tanjung Aru Kota Kinabalu Sabah Review

We had our breakfast at Maimunah Food Court Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu on 20/4/2024. Our 3rd last day in KK before going back to KL.

We ordered soto ayam, roti bom and roti canai.

We noticed roti bom in Sabah is different compared to roti bom in KL. Roti bom in KL they put sugar but in Sabah they put egg and kaya.

We stayed at Ausvilla on 18/4/2024 to 19/4/2024. We went to Kundasang to have one big family trip vacation and get together.

We booked 2 units at Ausvilla then we had one big family dinner at Ausvilla. The food was quite good and reasonably priced.

The unit is a two storey unit where at ground floor is living room, kitchen, balcony and a toilet. While at first floor, there are 3 bedrooms, balcony and toilet.

Where to Find Really Crispy Roti Canai? Sri Muslim Restaurant Putatan Kota Kinabalu Review

Sri Muslim is mamak restaurant. It is located besides Servay Supermarket Putatan.

We went there on 16/4/2024 to have our breakfast. We ordered roti canai and roti boom. The roti canai and roti boom really crispy and delicious but its kuah not that delicious.

The roti canai cost RM2 a piece.
