Airbnb Malaysia Payment Not Received
We have an Airbnb listing at Genting Permai. All the while we receive Airbnb payments without any problems.
Unfortunately we don’t receive one of payments amounted to around RM300. We received an email from Airbnb saying that the payment will be in by latest 13th June 2022.
Payment Method
For Airbnb payment method, we use bank transfer. You just need to fill in your correct SWIFT code. You can get your SWIFT code from your bank.
Where to Get Airbnb Online Support
At footer of Airbnb website, click the link of “Help Centre”.
At the support page, you can see “Contact Us” to contact Airbnb online support.
Airbnb Online Support
After contacting Airbnb support, immediately we received phone call from Airbnb.
I think Airbnb gives priority support to superhost like us.
According to Airbnb, they already transferred the money to our bank account. We should check with our bank whether the fund is floating.
When we contacted our bank, according to them there is not floating fund to our account.
The bank asked us to get ARN number from Airbnb to confirm that they did transfer the money.
An acquirer reference number, or ARN, is a unique number created in credit or debit card transactions when it transfers from the merchant’s bank through the payment processor, and to the card holder’s bank.
These unique digits make your transaction traceable so if an error occurs with the bank or merchant accounts, the information can be found.
Payment Received
After we informed Airbnb to give us the ARN number. The support agent forwarded our request to another Airbnb agent who was specialist in money transfer problem.
After the tracing was done, we received the payment within 5 hours.

Astro Kem Badminton 2022
Astro Kem Badminton 2022 kali ini diadakan di gelanggang badminton Sunsuria Kota Damansara.
Berlangsung pada 16 & 17 Julai 2022 dari 8pagi sampai ke 3:30 petang.
Tak silap saya ada 3 sesi diadakan iaitu:
Sesi 1 – 830AM – 10AM
Sesi 2 – 1030AM – 12PM
Sesi 3 – 1230PM – 3:30PM
Hanya kanak-kanak berumur dari 10 tahun ke 12 tahun dibenarkan menyertai kem badminton ini.
Tiada bayaran dikenakan untuk menyertai kem badminton ini. Selain itu mendapat T-shirt percuma Astro Kem Badminton.
Pastikan membawa myKid anak anda kerana Astro ingin memeriksa sama ada anak anda layak dari segi umur.
Selain itu, pastikan anda ingat nombor akaun Astro anda kerana ianya diperlukan masa pendaftaran nanti.
Kem badminton ini bertujuan mencari bakat muda badminton untuk mengikuti latihan badminton professional yang ditaja oleh Astro.
Semasa kem badminton, peserta diuji dan diberi markah berdasarkan membuat servis dekat dan jauh, smash, drop dan pukulan ke belakang.
6 Peserta yang mendapat markah tertinggi akan diumumkan selepas sesi berakhir. Manakala peserta lain akan menerima SMS pada hari yang sama sebelum 6PM.
Jika tak dapat SMS, bermakna tidak layak ke pusingan seterusnya.

Smart Home Project – Control My Electrical Appliance via Smart Life with Universal Infrared Remote Controller
I want to transform my house into Smart Home where I can control my electrical appliances via mobile application in this case I’m using Smart Life.
At first, I though I must buy electrical appliance that have Wifi connection but I found it is expensive to replace all my electrical appliances that have Wifi connection and besides each manufacturer has their own mobile application to control their devices.
I don’t want to install different kind of mobile application because it makes hard to manage the devices.
Universal Infra Red Remote Control with Wifi
I found a device called universal infra red remote control with Wifi where it can control all electrical appliances via infra red and Smart Life mobile app controls the universal infra red remote control via Wifi.
As long as your electrical appliances can be control via IR remote control, you can control the appliance using the universal IR remote controller.
An universal IR remote controller can control devices within lines of sight. This is cheaper way to make my Smart Home project.
Devices That I Control with The Universal IR Remote Controller

Why I Use the Universal IR Remote Controller?
I have three major reasons
- Automation – I can automate on and off of my aircond to save electricity. Example by 4am I automatically switch off my aircond then on the ceiling fan as at 4am the temperature is not that hot anymore.
- No misplaced remote – sometimes I misplace my remote control, so by controlling via my mobile phone, I don’t waste time find the remote.
- Controlling over the internet – if my kid forgot to switch off TV, I can switch it off remotely. For autogate I can open my gate when I’m reaching nearby my house so I don’t waste time waiting for the gate to be opened.
Where You Can Buy Universal IR Remote Controller?
I bought mine at Shopee at RM32 per controller which I think reasonable price to make Smart Home project.
Of course I bought few controllers for living room & different bedrooms.
Shopee Return Refund Due to Parcel Delivered but Actually Not Received
First time I had a problem where the parcel is delivered but I don’t receive any parcel.
Chronology of Events
- 25 June 2022 – Order masks
- 27 June 2022 – Seller dropped off the parcel
- 27 June 2022 – Parcel has been picked up by our logistics partner
- 28 June 2022 – Parcel has arrived at sorting facility
- 29 June 2022 – Parcel has arrived at delivery hub
- 5 July 2022 (16:26) – Parcel is out for delivery
- 5 July 2022 ( 16:27) – Parcel has been delivered
Return / Refund Request Because 6 days at Delivery Hub
So what I did I call Shopee call centre on 4th July 2022 because the parcel was at the hub for 6 days already and they advise me to request for Return / Refund and their agent will investigate with their delivery partner.
Suddenly on 5th July the delivery status changed to parcel has been delivered within 1 minute from the parcel is out of delivery.
Which is shocking because impossible to deliver in 1 minute. I did check whether I received any parcel which I didn’t.
According to Shopee call centre, even though it is delivered by ShopeeExpress but in actual fact the ShopeeExpress is not owned by Shopee. It is owned by their partner but used Shopee branding.
Besides, the call centre informed me the rider has high target to deliver parcel, so what they did they just change status without delivering a parcel and it happens so many times.
Shopee Investigate My Return / Refund Case
On 6th July, Shopee call centre called me to verify whether I received or no the parcel which I said I didn’t.
Shopee informed me that they will send email and share with them my front house photo and will ask delivery partner to share their photo as proof of delivery. According to Shopee, the delivery partner just share black photo means they didn’t take any photo when deliver the parcel.
After sending my front house photo, the delivery partner will take another 3 working days to check with their rider.
If they can’t prove then Shopee will refund my money and Shopee coins.
Shopee Refunded My Money & Coins
On 11th July, Shopee refunded my coins and ewallet money after they completed their investigation which means Shopee confirmed that my parcel was not delivered.
Conclusion
- If your parcel is stuck at delivery hub for 4 days better call Shopee call centre and ask their advise
- If parcel has been delivered but you didn’t received it, call immediately Shopee.
- For me, Shopee is trusted platform even though they are not perfect but it is quite easy to contact their call centre and get resolution was fast and they keep their promise within the stipulated time.
