Panasonic EcoNavi Aircond Not Working

Aircond Blows Hot Air

My Panasonic aircond recently just blowed hot air. I have Panasonic EcoNavi 1.5HP model CS-CU12PKH.

I asked my regular serviceman to check it. According to him, the compressor was broken and suggested to change to another compressor or new aircond which cost a whopping RM2,000. My Panasonic aircond is just 5 years old and I service it regularly.

Finding The Right Serviceman

I didn’t believe because the way he explained was not convincing and the way he checked didn’t have step by step troubleshooting. Furthermore if compressor is broken, the power will trip.

So I had to check for second opinion with many aircond servicemen. I explained the symptoms where the aircond blowed hot air, all the LED didn’t show any red lights but sometimes if I switch on the aircond it is cold but water was dripping.

To my dismay most of them couldn’t detect what possibly the aircond problems. They wanted to check and will charge me for going to my house if I didn’t replace any parts.

I personally doesn’t have confidence in them because for me if you are expert you could possibly have some hypothesis what went wrong.

Found The Solution

Fortunately I contacted Aircond Tech which I got their contact from Mudah.My. I explained to them the symptoms and they were able to zoom that possibly the sensor is broken. So I gave it a try and asked them to come to my house.

Aircond Tech came to my house and replaced my Panasonic aircond sensor and voila! It works. Now cold air is coming out.

Total repair cost is RM120 with 2 weeks warranty.

Observing The Outcome

Now I’m observing the repair works whether it is totally repaired. I notice that the aircond fan quiet strong and it keeps blowing cold air even though it is cold already. Last time, the aircond fan would slow down if the temperature is cold to the set temperature.

Nearly after 2 weeks, the aircond doesnt produce any cold air anymore. Again, I contacted Zul telling the problem. According to the technician possibly it is the capacitor this time.

So after replacing the capacitor the aircond becomes cold again!

But I feel uncomfortable to replace two parts in short time. I am wondering whether the sensor is really broken or actually it is the capacitor is broken at first place.

Motion Gymnastics At Kota Damansara Review

I send my daughter, Aliesha to gymnastics classes since she was 7 years old. I noticed she likes to jump, climb and active physically when she was small.

So I tried to send her to Little Gym for trial. She was hooked to gym ever since. I send her for nearly 3 years to Little Gym.

Little Gym teaches casual gymnastics for kids rather than for competition. Over the years, my daughter found Little Gym classes were becoming easy for her.

I started to look for more intensive gymnastics training and I found Motion Gym to be nearby my house at Kota Damansara.

So I let her joined for one trial class and Aliesha was really liked it because she said it is more challenging than Little Gym.

Motion Gym Class

Motion Gym has different levels. Beginners level starts at level 1 and 2. Motion Gym will conduct an assessment to move up the level.

Before class starts, the kids have to do warming up by running around the gym class, jumping and other warming up technics to loosen their muscles.

For Level 1 & 2, class lasts for 1.5 hour.

Recommendation

In term of training, it is much intensive compared to Little Gym. The kids learn different skills. such as cartwheel, balance beam and front handspring. Motion Gym also conduct frequent assessment to evaluate the gymnasts level.

It seems there is one coach for every 5 gymnasts. They ensure the kids really learn the skills by asking them to repeat it till they do it correctly.

In term of facilities, it is a bit run down and sometime smelly and small space of waiting area for parents..

In term of fee, it is reasonable with 1.5 hours of training and furthermore Motion Gym offers discount if you pay 3 months or more.

The Motion Gym is located at Cova Square. The place is a bit scary cause lack of lighting, run down and lots of foreigners.

Even with its negativity, I still send my daughter to Motion Gym because I found that the training is intensive and the coaches are committed in teaching the kids.

Maid Work Permit Sticker Transfer to New Renewal Passport

I decided to renew my maid passport here in Kuala Lumpur instead of waiting for her to return back from her 2 months hometown leave.

To avoid hassle from my pass encounter I decided to renew her passport 15 months before expiry (due to expiry date which will lapse less than a year if I were to renew her work permit upon her returning).

After settle passport renewal, just realised that I bought her flight ticket before her renewal. Luckily during booking with Airasia to Surabaya, Indonesia i didn’t need to enter her passport number.. Alhamdulillah…

But only one thing need to settle, when I ask employee at KBRI they said no need to transfer her valid work permit sticker to new passport. Just clip together old and new passport and show to Immigration at departure.

hmmm… I decided to not 100% believe it and went to Immigration at Bandar Damansara. The friendly immigration staff told that I need to transfer sticker because once new passport release the old passport consider expired and not valid. Only one valid passport can a person carry at a time.

My maid permit still valid for around 6 months. I have two options;

renew (but will waste that 6 months validity), 0r
transfer sticker permit at new passport with a cost.

I chose option 2. Below i share the costing and documents needed for this option.

Hadeef Practices on Yamaha Digital Drums

I bought Yamaha Digital Drums DTX-452K for Hadeef to practice his drums.

I chose digital drums because we can control its volume and it doesn’t require so much space like acoustic drums.

As advised by Hadeef’s drum teacher, we bought Edifier XM6BT as DTX-452K sound system. The Edifier can be controlled via my smartphone and at same time has its own remote control. The Edifier I bought at Harvey Norman and it costs RM319.

I bought the Yamaha Digital Drum from Yamaha Setia Alam.
