Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine – Model Genio S Touch Review

I bought a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine on 16th May 2023 at Mid Valley, KL.

I was looking for a coffee machine for quite sometimes just don’t know what type should I buy. At the end, I decided to buy a capsule coffee machine for easy maintenance and less clutters to keep all other coffee blends.

Besides, the capsules have different flavours from espresso, americano, cafe latte and caramel.

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto – Genio S Touch

1) Water hotness have 3 levels (normal, medium hot and hot)
2) Water level can change according to a capsule water level needs
3) Easy to replace capsule

What I like?

1) The coffee the machines produces has lots of tasty bubble.
2) I like the taste of the americano and espresso. I think it is better than Starbucks 🙂
3) Easy to use

What I don’t like

1) It takes time before the water stops dripping from the capsule after blend. So either I have to wait till no more drip, or just take the capsule out and make sure the water is not drip on the floor etc.

Price

I bought it at RM699 at that time with free of one capsule box of 16 capsules, starbucks mug and a tote bag.

Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast Review July 2023

We went to Adventure Waterpark Desaru on 1st July 2023. When we went go there, we didn’t set high expectation. We thought it can’t be much better vs Lego Waterpark.

Furthermore the ticket price is more affordable vs Lego waterpark. So we thought the facilities must be less than Lego.

To our surprise the Adventure Waterpark Desaru is 3 times better than Lego waterpark.

It has so many exciting rides and basically you don’t have to queue that long.

Besides foods & beverages is delicious as it is provided by Hard Rock Cafe.

We ate burgers for our lunch. The burger was juicy and really tasty. It cost roughly RM30 per meal.

Entrance Fee

We bought our ticket online. For a kid of 12 years old and below we paid RM92, published price at Adventure Waterpark Desaru is RM95 for kids and adults.

After buying ticket online the day before, we received email of the ticket that we need to bring it to the ticket counter at the waterpark on the next day.

The ticket counter only sells ticket for that day. You cannot buy in advance. Only online they allowed it.

I bought ticket online because I was afraid the queue would be long. To my surprise only few people were queuing.

Parking

It is quite near to the park, just 10 minute walking distance and full day parking is RM8.

My Review on Adventure Waterpark Desaru

I rate it 5/5 stars. I would recommend anyone to go there besides I’m willing to go there again.

Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa Review July 2023

We had our short vacation during the long Hari Raya Haji public holiday from 29/06/2023 till 02/07/2023. We stayed at Lotus Resort & Spa, Desaru, Johor.

We chose Lotus because all other hotels were fully booked. We were disappointed because had to choose Lotus but at the end we had very enjoyable stay and we gave 5 stars for the welcoming and friendly staff and the room was really nice and we did few activities inside the hotel.

For 3 bedrooms, with a kitchen, living room and dining table it costs us RM2,710 for 3 nights including service tax.

Renew Car Insurance Bjak vs MyEG Review

Every year I renew my car insurance with MyEG. This year, MyEG changed the agent because the previous agent resigned from MyEG.

The new MyEG agent is lousy in his response to my query and because of that I tried Bjak service.

Customer Service Responsiveness

Bjak seems to be automated customer service but if question is really custom their human customer service will respond quickly.

I had bad experience with MyEG agent for this car insurance cause he seems not care to respond or to assist with my inquiry.

When I tried to change agent, I couldn’t. This is the major reason I switched to Bjak.

I bought a terrace house at Denai Alam and plan to do simple renovation to the house. My most worried is to get good quality with reasonable price contractor.

Fortunately my awning contractor Saujana Electrical Trading, can do any house renovation. From my past experience when installing my awning, the contractor is fast with quality jobs and with reasonable price.

Order School Books at School2u.my Review

This is my first time ordered school books at School2u.my.

I ordered my daughter school books on 1st March 2023 until 7th March 2023 no update from school2u when I follow up through their support email no response until I email second time.

It took them 2 days to respond. They informed that there were shortage of certain books and the books will be delivered in 1-2 working days. It seems they keep their promise but the book will only arrive on 22nd March means my daughter will get her books after the school is open.

I like to eat chicken shawarma 3Mori Chicken at Cova Square, Kota Damansara. The price is reasonable and taste also quite good.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Food Review

Lately we like to eat at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf because we really like it bagel. Really crunchy and tasty.

Taste Like Freshly Cooked

Then we tried other food like its margarita and hawaian pizzas.

I also tried its aglio olio with shredded chicken. I ate it 3 times in a month because really love it.

The food taste like freshly cooked instead of reheat. I know Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf or even Starbucks just reheat their frozen food but Starbucks’ food doesn’t taste fresh vs Coffee Bean.
