Shopee Return Refund Due Faulty Product – Malfunction / Item Not Works As Intended

I bought a lock with digit combination at Shopee. Unfortunately the lock can’t be open even though it is set to 0-0-0-0.

I contacted seller via Shopee and WhatsApp and they asked me to return the item.

So I just follow the steps in Return / Refund and choose the right reason.

I choose “Faulty Product” as reason to return it back.

After click submit, I need to share photos of it. So I just share my WhatsApp discussion with the seller that asked me to return it.

After submit the photos, Shopee asked me to drop off the product at any J&T branch and show them the bar code.

Drop Off The Faulty Product at J&T Branch

On 30th June 2022, I went to J&T Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam to drop it off. I needed to purchase 25 cent of packaging bag from J&T. I thought everything is covered by Shopee but it is only the postal cost is covered by Shopee.

Then J&T has to scan the bar code and the “Return / Refund” status change to seller needs to respond by 5th July 2022.

Return / Refund In Progress

After J&T scanned the bar code, the Return / Refund status change to “Return in Progress” and you will know by when Seller must respond before Shopee can process the refund.

My Money & Coins Successfully Refunded

I received my money and coins on the same day which is 30th June 2022 at night. Seller was fast in confirming the refund.

Conclusion

1) Seller was trusted one because don’t argue much on the faulty product.

2) But seller’s mistake is, he didn’t check the product before shipping out.

3) I only bought sellers with 4.9 stars rating and above and also see whether a seller is professional in responding bad rating. If seller criticizes buyer on bad rating then I won’t buy from this kind of seller

4) Shopee is fast in refunding my money as long as Seller is co-operative.

5) Return process due to faulty product was quite easy as long you have J&T branch nearby.

Shopee AIA Extended Warranty of 12 Months

Recently I bought Samsung washing machine from Shopee. When I wanted to check out, Shopee asked me whether to buy extended warranty or no from AIA.

The warranty will only be issued after the order is received.

How Much Is the Extended Warranty

The extended warranty for 12 months costs me RM41. So I decided to give it a try.

The warranty price varies based on the item price.

What It Covers

The extended warranty covers any mechanical, electrical or electronic breakdown.

I am also not sure what it really means but my assumption is any breakdown due to those mentioned above as long as we don’t cause it to breakdown by force example handling so hard on the item until it break, it will be covered under this warranty.

How Does The Standard Extended Warranty Work?

If the electronic device has an existing original warranty, the extended warranty covers after the existing warranty expires.

If it doesn’t have an existing warranty, the extended warranty stars immediately.

Any warranty claim must be done within 21 days of breakdown.
Collection or repair (if more than RM100) will be collected by authorized repair centre
If more less than RM100, cash out will be provided within 2 to 4 working days.

Liesha first Beaver Malaysia Competition Online – Cadet Level

Liesha has joined Kangaroo Math competition since she was 9 years old. Now when she is 13 years old, she takes her first beaver competition. She took her Beaver competition on 26th June 2022 at 1PM.

This time she had quite tight schedule, she has to study for her school exam, gym, badminton and after Kangaroo Math, she has to take Beaver.

I hope she can get better than honorable mention for this Beaver competition.

Unifi Air Review

I ordered online Unifi Air with device of 2 years contract on 22nd June 2022. I need it to put at my Airbnb unit at Genting Permai.

Fast Delivery

Surprisingly I received the Unifi Air device and SIM card in 2 days. It exceeds Unifi promise to send within 14 days.

Setting Up the Wifi

Unifi already inserted the SIM card into the Wifi Router. So I just need to set up the Wifi ID and its password.

To do setting, I need to connect using RJ45 cable from my laptop to the Wifi Router.

Then go to https://192.168.0.1 and default password of admin.

From the admin panel can change its Wifi ID and password. Then you also can change its default login password.

Fast Connection

The connection is fast where I can watch Netflix on 2 TVs and watch youtube at one phone and iPad. There is no buffering when connecting to internet on 4 devices simultaneously.

I tried with 4 devices and all devices seems to have good internet speed.

Unifi Air is the cheapest vs other competitors. Of course, you need to check your coverage before subscribing to Unifi Air. So far at Genting Permai the internet is 4G internet.

Recommendation

I highly recommend Unifi Air if the coverage is good due to its cheaper price, unlimited package and good Wifi router.

June School Holiday Vacations at Johor Legoland

We had our short school holiday break from 5 to 8 Jun 2022.

5 Jun (Sunday) – Traveling to Puteri Harbour, Johor. We went to Muar to taste Muar Mee Bandung.

We stayed at Jen Hotel our favorite hotel in Puteri Harbour.

We played online Uno before our dinner at TRK restaurant.

6 Jun (Monday) – We went to Legoland and plays Kingdom rides. Legoland was so pack with people and had long queue for popular rides.

We had our lunch at 7 Spice with my wife’s sister. Tried to play electric scooter but there were so many people then decided to play it the next day.

7 Jun (Tuesday) – We ride the pharoah ride, water ride and Fire Engine. We won on the fire engine race against other families. Haha.

In the afternoon, we went to Johor Premium Outlet and had our lunch at Subway. Most the foods at JPO finished or restaurants were full.

It was nice of Jen Hotel on how their arrange my kids panda and cat pillows when they made up the room.

The kids went to Jen Hotel swimming pool in the evening.

8 Jun (Wednesday) – Had our breakfast at Jen Hotel and then the kids again went to the swimming pool. We had our lunch at McDonalds EduCity. Traveling back to KL and the traffic was quite smooth.

Sempena cuti sekolah dari 6 Jun sampai 10 Jun, kami sekeluarga pergi ke Legoland dan singgah di Muar untuk merasa mee bandung special.
