In my previous posts How to Kill Cockroaches the Cheaper Way & How To Kill Cockroaches Effectively in Your House, I did put a poison powder on specific areas.
I notice after one year plus doing and keep replacing the powder every 2 – 3 months, cockroaches start to appear on my kitchen.
When I checked the specific area that I put the powder, it seems that there are less dead cockroaches.
My Hypothesis
I have 2 hypothesis on this.
- The powder poison is not effective anymore. The cockroaches are more immune to it or they avoid eating it.
- New cockroaches colonies appear in different locations of my kitchen.
On first hypothesis, I don’t have any ideas on effective way to kill the cockroaches.
So I decided to try #2 hypothesis by making a small box and put powder poison inside it. Then I put the boxes on different locations.
After a night, I noticed there were lots of dead cockroaches. So every 2 nights I change the box location in my kitchen.
After doing this for several nights, there are no more cockroaches strolling around my kitchen at night.
Conclusion
Cockroaches are really hard to kill beasst. They keep surviving!
