Recently I had problems with my Elton water heater tanks at my Windmill Upon Hills condominium at Genting Permai.
I have two Elton water heater tanks installed in each of my bathroom by OSK Properties.
For Windmill Upon Hills project, the Elton water heater tank has warranty until April 2023.
Both of my water heater tanks are faulty.
1) One bathroom each time I switch on the water heater my house electricity will trip.
2) Second bathroom there were water leaking from the Elton water tank.
It caused me lots of headache.
Major root caused is due to its faulty water heater coil. You just need to replace it. The water heater coil costs around RM120. Labour cost is RM230. So total cost is RM350.
According to the repair man, if the coil is not used for long time, mold will develop around the coil and causing the electricity to trip.
In my case due to MCO I didn’t use much my water heater.
For this repair, I contacted direct with the repair man because at this time I didn’t know the water heater brand was Elton. Fortunately the repair man was fast and expert in Elton water tank as he is authorized repair man from Elton.

It took around 1 hour to replace the faulty water heating coil.
In my case, the outgoing valve was leaking and the water tank was also leaking. That is why I had 2 water stain spots on my ceiling.
I had to open the ceiling main hole and took pictures of the water leaking.
It took nearly 3 hours to replace the leaking water tank with the new one.
Elton charged me RM for to replace with new water tank inclusive of labour charge.
I received “The Number of Ads You Can Show Has Been Limited” notification on Google Adsense dashboard on 15th September 2022. Actually Google started to flag it on 13th September 2022 and stop showing ads on 15th September.
It means that Google will stop showing ads to your website pending further investigation by Google and due to this I have zero daily revenue for my website.
According to Google’s website, this is due fishy traffic from illegal way of getting traffic to the website.
It is automatic detection by Google. When it is flagged, Google team will evaluate and Google doesn’t give any timeline how long it takes them to evaluate. Based on other people experience it took 2 – 4 weeks to lift the ban or continue it until the illegal traffic is resolved.
I suspected that due to my website’s traffic pattern which has a spike on certain period of time and suddenly drop drastically.
I know this based on Google Analytics statistics. I have one article where I have sudden increase and sudden drop of visitors based on certain period where it is normal due to the nature of its content.
When I check my Google Analytics I didn’t have any spike of bots visits to my website or any kind of fishy traffic.
So I decided not to do anything because I know I didn’t do anything illegal on my traffic.
Of course I don’t have any more my daily income but based on all articles I read, it is best to do nothing if the traffic is legal.
After not showing any ads on 15th September, Google started to show ads on 27th September 2022. I started to earn very small income and it grows slowly.
If you don’t have any illegal traffic just wait for Google to evaluate the automatic detection by their system.
I have two washing machines one is Electrolux washing machine and dryer and the other one is Samsung washing machine.
When I want to use Electrolux to dry my clothes I have to switch the water pipe (It use water for steam to dry the clothes) from Samsung to Electrolux and to change the drainage water as well.
One day I forgot to change the drainage and made my floor flooded.
I found the double drainage sold on Shopee but I wasn’t sure whether it will fit into my current drainage.
Having 2 washing machines means I have to have 2 inlet water sources for the 2 washing machines and 2 way drainage.
So I need to:
So I decided to do it myself the drainage using 32mm PVC and T & elbow joints of 40mm. I use white tape to seal the joint between the PVC and the current washing machine drainage.
Ensure wrap lots of white tapes even outside of the T-joint to avoid any water leaking. Besides, I used PVC glue around the white tapes and the PVC joints.
It costs me around RM20 for the PVC and the white tapes.
Change of single faucet nozzle to tway faucet nozzles.
My washing machines hose both need to screw to the faucet but the two way only provide one nozzle that can screw to it the other one need to hook it.
So I needed to buy new hose that can hook to the faucet & buy a converter / adaptor.
I am happy with the final outcome. There is no water leaking from the faucet and the washing machine drainage. Now I can easily switch which washing machine that I want to use.
I use my existing PVC glue so I don’t factor it in here.
I bought Panasonic Water Heater DH-3ND1 at RM489 at E&A Sdn Bhd on 12th September 2022 which is cheapest compared to other shops. Most shops sell at RM600++ and the second cheapest competitor offers RM570.
E&A sells at Shopee but I decided to go to their warehouse because it needs the water urgently to replace my faulty water heater. I’m afraid the delivery unable to arrive when my contractor replaces the faulty water heater.
E&A is a warehouse not a retail shops. The only sells Panasonic ceiling fans and water heater.

I use Cielo downlight LED for my kitchen lamps. I installed it in 2013 and had to replace the downlight LED this September 2022. After nearly 12 years, the Cielo downlight started to be deemed.
Fortunately it was easy to find Cielo downlight at my favorite hardware shop Chin Chun.
Cielo downlight has 2 years warranty and priced at RM16++.
I found Cielo is reliable products as I only needs to change it after 10 years and the kitchen lamps are used quite frequent.
Shah Alam has its own extreme park where you can play inline skating, skateboard and rock climbing.
I went there with my kids so they could play inline skating. I was a bit surprise the park is quite good condition because I read few bad reviews on the place.
We went to the extreme park on 8 September 2022 from 430PM till 630PM. Then we went dinner at Burger Kings next to the extreme park. My kids really enjoyed their first trip to the extreme park. Even tough they were beginners they could play safely at the extreme park.
For first time playing Shopee Farm, I received 99 coins on 7th September 2022. Then next day, I received 15 coins. Usually I just received at most 10 coins using seed 5 – 138 coins.
I think the big coins reward is thanks to 9/9 event.
First time we ate at Kafe Deli Bakery in Kota Damansara. It was full house, we had to wait for 10 minutes to get seats. We tried to eat at the Kafe Deli Bakery because it was full that triggered our curiosity to try its foods.
We order mee goreng mamak, mee hoon goreng, wantan mee, chicken chop and its fillet of fish.
The foods were delicious. My mee goreng mamak got pieces of chickens, sawi. If I eat at Mamak restaurant they just provides you plain noodle for your mee goreng mamak.
The price is also reasonable.
